"What the hell is this place!?"
He Zheng stared in horror at the staggering sight outside the spaceship, unable to comprehend where they were.
If not for the human buildings on the ground, he would have suspected they were on another planet!
"We should still be..."
Before Huang Liang could finish his instinctive reply, a system notification rang out:
"Ding, current [Transcendence] progress: 39%!" "After obtaining further [Transcendence] information, you may leave this examination through option two."
Once the announcement ended, they set aside their shock and quickly checked their System Wristwatches.
After confirming that their progress had risen considerably, they exchanged glances, excitement stirring within them.
Sure enough, once they left that protective barrier, they had entered the true area for solving the examination.
Not only that, but as the spaceship shuddered, it automatically changed course from its original due-south heading, as though recalibrating its position. The control stick turned on its own, with no one touching it.
Realizing that the spaceship was flying itself toward the suspected human base, everyone was somewhat surprised.
They had been worried that even after leaving the protected zone, they would need time to search for the base. After all, Huang Liang had only guessed that it might be at the South Pole. Now, however, it seemed that leaving the protected zone meant they were already more than halfway to success.
"Ye Lin, isn't this a little too easy? Shit, this ship isn't taking us straight to the monsters' lair, is it?"
Things were going so smoothly that even He Zheng couldn't help growing worried.

After carefully checking the spaceship's radar, Ye Lin gave a firm answer.
"Two signals have appeared on the radar, one behind us and one to the southwest. The one behind us is the Starship.
