"Bzz."
A buzzing sounded, and Ye Lin suddenly let out a muffled groan, his face turning deathly pale.
He had never expected the system's so-called fusion to take place inside his body.
Scorching heat rapidly spread from his chest through his entire body. The pain was so intense that he felt as though he had been thrown into a furnace.
Fortunately, the pain vanished as quickly as it had come.
With a system notification, a constantly writhing violet light appeared in his mind:
Plasma Cannon: After absorbing thermal energy, charge up or rapidly release a destructive beam that inflicts disintegration damage on the target. Fusion grade: C. Maximum damage per use: B+.
Watching the violet light twist wildly in his mind, leaving a crack with every movement, Ye Lin raised an eyebrow in surprise.
He could sense how destructive the glowing mass was, like energy compressed to its absolute limit, capable of tearing everything apart.
Apparently, fusion combined the characteristics of two abilities. Although the grade remained unchanged, the Plasma Cannon was clearly far more useful than controlling flames to engulf a target and explode, or throwing out a blob of plasma.
Its maximum power in a single use had actually reached B+.
Does it need charging... Still, it's good enough as a trump card...
Ye Lin breathed a sigh of relief. Although he hated relying on luck, he had to admit that this unexpectedly acquired Perfected One Prototype had far exceeded his expectations.
A B+ trump card could easily serve as a lethal weapon capable of turning the tide of battle.
"Ye Lin?"
An Ke's voice suddenly rang out.
She came down the stairs with a rifle on her back, her face covered in dust and her steps weary.
Seeing how pale Ye Lin looked, surprise flashed
