"What item?"
Ye Lin asked softly, a little curious.
Seeing his interest, An Ke did not keep him in suspense.
"A Q&A item."
"Given an object, it can answer three questions about it."
"We have the key, so we can ask it what's in the scenario and what the most unusual thing there is."
Ye Lin paused slightly after hearing that.
"Are you sure this item only costs a D-grade rating to redeem?"
"From what you're saying, if we'd had this item during our first exam, wouldn't we have known we were on Venus right from the start?"
His tone was somewhat grave. Almost as soon as An Ke finished speaking, he had thought of the item's real use.
Taking the first exam as an example, they could have picked up any object and asked where it was and whether there were any monsters in the scenario capable of destroying it.
With the right questions, they could deduce most of the dangers from very little information. It was practically cheating.
An Ke froze briefly. Realizing she had not explained clearly, she hurried to clarify:
"No, Ye Lin. It can only be used inside the Death Exam Space. You can't take it out."
"And the higher the grade of the things involved, the less detailed its answers are. You can only use it once per exam, too."
At those words, Ye Lin immediately lost much of his interest.
If they could not bring it into an exam, it was not much use.
They had nothing from the next exam on hand, so they could not work backward to deduce any information.
