Li Dao survived the Death Row Camp by killing Northern Barbarians, then led a group of unusual prisoners through missions for the Mighty Camp. As the Tamu Tribe’s marriage envoy approached the border, Li Dao fought Liu Yan while the eldest prince chose to retreat.

• Li Dao killed a burly prisoner who tried to take his food, awakened his system, and set his sights on earning freedom by collecting enemy ears.
• Squad Leader Liu took Li Dao on a Northern Barbarian raid, where Li Dao proved himself in battle and killed surrendered enemies despite being warned not to.
• After surviving an ambush against Northern Barbarian cavalry and killing their leader, Li Dao joined Wei Yun’s group with Shen San, Old Ghost, Xu Hu, and Little Madman.

Li Dao returned to the Imperial Capital, rescued Jiu'er from the ruined Li estate, and later defended Peach Spring Village from Northern Barbarians. He settled in Cloudrise City and enlisted, only to be assigned to the notorious Yellow Sand Town Camp, while his treasure blood began attracting animals.

• Li Dao found Wei Yun captive in the Falling Cloud Tribe’s camp, raised his physique, killed Jinhua, and drove Jinsha’s forces into retreat.
• Li Dao returned to Changgu Town with Wei Yun, then traveled north and joined Tie Sanniang’s caravan as a guard.
• Li Dao saved Tie Sanniang from assassins on the road to the Imperial Capital, then left the caravan and returned to find the Earl of Anyuan’s Residence being looted.
• Li Dao reunited with Jiu'er, learned that Steward Li had died, and left the estate with her as the Chancellor’s men arrived to seize it.
• Li Dao killed the Northern Barbarians who raided Peach Spring Village and discovered that his transformed blood healed him and changed a rat into an intelligent, obedient pet named Yuanbao.
