When he saw Deathstroke enter the office, Howard rarely became serious and asked what had happened outside.
"Mm, more or less. Their bloody smell helped me find Romulus's location. Overall, the result was the same." Su Ming grabbed Howard and headed for the restroom, where two female agents were coming toward them.
Seeing the pair together, the women froze for a moment, then covered their mouths to suppress their laughter before running off.
"Hey! It's not what you think! Come back! I'll buy you dinner tonight! Let me show you what I'm into!" Howard, held by the collar, futilely reached toward the two women as though trying to hold them back.
"Don't worry about those details. You remember our agreement, right? You're already a married man. Why do you care what other people think?" Su Ming dragged Howard back into the women's restroom and shut the door.
Howard covered his face with both hands in anguish. "Those are completely different matters! Even if I'm a genius and can ignore other people's stares, it still won't sound good if word gets out!"
"Not like you have much of a reputation to protect anyway." Su Ming folded his arms.
"That's true." Howard lowered his hands, no longer suffering in the slightest. "So, the people I found are dead?"
"Probably. Every bone in their bodies was shattered. Ordinary people would probably die from the pain." Su Ming looked at the fogged-up mirror over the sink. Beside the two stick figures that had already been drawn there, someone had added two more. An eight-legged bug had also been drawn in the corner of the mirror. "Were they valuable to you?"
