In an unknown space somewhere beyond the Milky Way Galaxy of the Main Dimension, Gorr the God Butcher was leading tens of thousands of Symbiotes in cleansing a small dimension.

This kingdom, hidden within a gap in space, was called Ak-Rannukh. In ancient times, the Time Gods had severed it from the Main Dimension and turned it into a Pocket Dimension, allowing them to live there without being disturbed by mortals.

This had always been the way of gods: isolating themselves from mortals. Nearly every pantheon did the same.

The gods living here were red-skinned alien deities, the color of cooked sweet potatoes. They called themselves the Time Gods not because they had mastered the laws of time, but because they could use a massive magical device known as the Pool of Eternity to offer sacrifices to a certain demon god, allowing them to travel along past Timelines.

Being able to use time and mastering the Time Concept were completely different things, but boasting was not a crime.

They could only see the past, however, not the Future. At the very least, they had not seen the future in which Gorr the God Butcher came to slaughter them.

Ak-Rannukh had only one enormous city, called the Endless Palace. It was built entirely from unknown white stone, its buildings inlaid with precious golden metals and gemstones of every color, making it look luxurious and elegant.

But now, it was in much the same state as Omnipotence City. Lawns had been trampled, saplings uprooted, and the black Symbiote army ran rampant through the city, hunting down every last person.

Gorr stood on a rooftop with his arms folded, watching the scene. From time to time,
