The underground creatures in this Underground City had a rather unique attitude toward humans.
In the past, underground creatures regarded humans as food on sight, so there was no need to mention their attitude. But although the monsters here were surprised and wary upon seeing humans, they displayed no obvious hostility.
Whether the title Sorcerer Supreme was useful or the goblin simply did not understand what it meant, he waddled around the two of them a few times on his short legs. Seemingly finding no threat, he led the way.
"I can only take you as far as the city lord's palace. Whether the city lord will see you, I can't say."
The goblin's legs were too short, making him bob along as he walked. The roads in this Underground City, however, were very flat, as though vehicles could travel on them.
Su Ming neither confirmed nor denied it. He gave Little Ka a look, signaling him to follow the goblin. The goblin took four or five steps for every one step the humans needed, so the two had plenty of time to observe their surroundings.
Whether it was the fields or the houses by the roadside, underground creatures within always cast curious looks at the pair. It was pure curiosity, as though they did not know humans could be eaten.
They even saw a small number of Hell creatures here. El Diablo, who would have been considered an elite warrior in Hell, was selling grilled mushrooms by the roadside. Snake demons with six arms and serpent tails were also formidable demons, yet here they were hauling manure and farming.
It was simply bizarre. These demons showed no reaction to humans, as though they had seen through the vanity of the world.
Could this city look Steampunk on the surface
