"You're right. Our world really is pretty messed up."

A month later, Monark, whose beard was still impeccably trimmed, said this to Deathstroke.

The rainforest was like an endless green nightmare. Even though the undead army had been sweeping relentlessly in a straight line for an entire month, they still had not seen the end of the forest.

It was as if the entire dimension consisted of nothing but rainforest and mountains, impossible to escape even in a lifetime.

Still, everyone was doing fairly well. The Cloak of Levitation could come and go freely, and supplies could be delivered endlessly to Deathstroke. Their basic living conditions were at least guaranteed, though they were mentally exhausted.

How could they not be exhausted? Every day was just fighting monsters, eating, and sleeping, like workers on an assembly line repeating the same tedious labor day after day.

They found another Horde along the way today, so everyone got out of the sedan chairs to stretch their legs. But after approaching the Horde and seeing what was inside, Monark said what he had said earlier.

Because in the middle of this enormous Horde stood a gigantic statue, while countless Savages were preparing for its unveiling ceremony.

Perhaps these people could no longer be called Savages. Aside from their unkempt beards and Beast Hide clothing, they were completely different from primitive Savages.

They possessed exquisite carving skills, well-developed farming and livestock facilities, and they even spoke English.

The buildings in the village could truly be called houses, at least with earthen walls and wooden doors and windows.

The statue was already complete. Though it was not as tall as the giant trees in the surrounding forest, it still stood around thirty meters high and had been constructed using techniques similar to pyramid building.
