Carol stood on the lawn in front of her house, the corner of her mouth twitching nonstop, looking utterly broken. All she got in return was the Orange Cat's disdainful little glance.

The spiraling descent had left Fury and Melinda vomiting endlessly, while Deathstroke was busy fiddling with the bug corpses. No one paid her any attention at all.
