Tony was a smart man, so of course he knew what was going on down there. These people had simply beaten Dr. Banner back to his original form.
He had never met Deathstroke, but he had heard of the Yellow-Black Demon's legend. He was merely using jokes to keep the atmosphere from becoming too serious while making it clear that he knew Dr. Banner, preventing Deathstroke from taking Banner away.
After all, Deathstroke had a history of abducting Erskine. What if he wanted another physicist this time?
