How should one put it? This human looked half-asleep. He had not only dead-fish eyes, but also a mess of curly white hair. A sword-shaped wooden stick hung from his waist, while the pinky of one hand was digging in his nostril.

He picked out a little black ball, held it up for a look, then flicked it away and spoke.

"Yo, Goro. I've been waiting for you forever."

Galactus rarely encountered creatures that were not afraid of him, let alone ones that got his name wrong. Once his curiosity was piqued, his hunger did not seem quite so unbearable.

"Human, were you calling me?"

His green eyes turned toward the human, and he even considered whether he should have a little snack first.

But he gave up on the idea. If it were several hundred million people, eating them might at least take the edge off. One person alone was not worth it—the energy they could replenish was less than the energy his esophagus and stomach would expend transporting the food.

So he clutched his belly and shrank back again.

A twisted smile appeared on the dead-fish-eyed newcomer's face. His nose-picking sped up, as though he were deeply disdainful. "I came to deliver your meal. Say, there isn't a single person on your ship. Aren't you lonely?"

Galactus stared somewhat anxiously at the road ahead, but Earth was still some distance away. There was no point in being impatient.
