Before anyone else had even started eating, Barry had already finished. Empty cans and quail bones were piled beside him. He wiped his mouth as he spoke, still looking quite refined.
Su Ming reached out and picked up the wineglass from the table. Strangle had poured the wine earlier, and by now it should have breathed enough.
He took a small sip, nodded in satisfaction, and began explaining his plan.
"Although we often say, 'Let Magic World matters be handled by Magic World,' and 'Fight magic with magic,' magic is ultimately just another form of energy. At its root, it has something in common with technology. We are completely outmatched in magic, and the situation is unfavorable. So why not change our approach and use technology to defeat magic?"
"That'll be difficult." Barry rubbed his face, unaware that Harley was behind him testing whether his hair carried static electricity. "Luthor is already one of Earth's greatest scientists, and that's not even counting Brainiac on his team. We only have Mister Terrific and Blue Beetle. The gap is far too great."
Su Ming pressed his hands together before him, propping his chin on his thumbs.
Apart from the flickering firelight, the hall was filled with the homely atmosphere of instant noodles and hotpot. That was nice.
