Adjutant had now taken over Brother Eye's former work, beginning to provide rationalized advice to the many Heroes.
Brother Eye's think tank had belonged to Batman. Its programs analyzed every aspect of the hero requesting aid, studied the current enemy's situation, then imitated Batman's past way of thinking to offer a solution.
Adjutant was different. She had originally been loaded with Cybertron's strategy suite, and during those decades in Marvel, Su Ming had taught her quite a few things. She had also learned plenty on her own through radio transmissions and similar means.
What she displayed now was intelligence on an even higher level. Her ideas and tactics were wildly imaginative, leaving many Heroes temporarily unable to make heads or tails of them.
For instance, when facing a madman, one hero received an order to perform an awkward dance. He did so with half-belief and half-doubt, and sure enough, the madman started dancing too. The hero easily defused the crisis.
After defeating the enemy, the Superhero had even sighed in admiration, saying that the Main World's Batman truly was terrifyingly cunning.
In reality, every one of those orders had been delivered by Adjutant imitating Batman's voice. They had absolutely nothing to do with Batman, but Su Ming had no intention of correcting their assumptions. He only needed to quietly make his fortune.
He sat in an icy-cold chair, using a small plastic fork to lift a clump of instant noodles into his mouth as he silently considered the next phase of the plan.
It couldn't be helped. The smell in the control room reminded him of riding trains in his previous life. Whenever it was mealtime, the train cars would be filled with the scent of instant noodles, and now he wanted a cup himself.
