Batwoman tossed the Owlman she had been carrying into a thick patch of grass, then pulled bandages from her belt. Their injuries were serious, but compared with everyone else on Earth -3, they were in far better shape.
At least through sheer willpower, both Batwomen could remain conscious. Oh, and one of them had the Joker's help.

Not long ago, Owlman and the Crime Syndicate had all been summoned by Perpetua. They had eagerly headed for her flagship, thinking they could finally latch onto a powerful patron.
But Mother of the Multiverse did not like creatures from the Dark Multiverse. They had done so much in hopes of boarding the Legion of Doom's ship, yet she had no intention of selling them tickets. She merely wanted to lure them over, then kill them for amusement.

But another Batwoman had suddenly appeared, obscuring everyone's vision with laughing gas, protecting the two of them with Tenth Metal, then using countless gadgets prepared in advance to escape beneath the Goddess's and her massive army's very noses.
They were currently on an Earth somewhere in the Dark Multiverse. Neither Batwoman nor the Joker knew exactly where. With Perpetua's army hunting them down, there had been no time to correct the teleportation route disrupted by the Goddess. Batwoman was not very proficient with the teleportation device she had obtained from Luthor.
