Damian interlaced his fingers on the table. He had wanted to prop up his chin or cover half his face with one hand while speaking, because that would have felt darker.
But this round conference table clearly had not been designed for children.
At his current height, even while seated, he could barely get his head above the tabletop. The discovery darkened his expression, but it did not stop him from speaking with the people currently in charge.
Yet after he finished speaking, he noticed Aquaman continually nodding and looking at him expectantly, as though silently waiting for something.
Robin sighed inwardly. What could he possibly know? He had been busy fighting Rob earlier, then came over for a meal and heard the alarm. No matter how cute Aquaman tried to look, he could not be expected to command the Justice League.
