The blue teleportation light faded, and two figures, one tall and one short, appeared amid the ruins of a city.
There was no air here, no water, not even an atmosphere. The star's intense light shone directly onto the ground, while heat rose from the collapsed building ruins lining the broken roads.
Yet even from the city's remains, its former prosperity could vaguely be seen from the scale of its buildings and streets. This had likely once been a world whose technology far surpassed Earth's.

Starman swept back his white shoulder-length hair and asked the blue-skinned giant beside him.
The World Forger hoisted his hammer onto his shoulder again. By striking space, he could open Teleportation Portals to anywhere in the multiverse, and it was he who had brought Starman here.
Their goal was to find his two brothers, the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor, obtain their help, travel through time, and defeat Perpetua.
