There were quite a few smart people on the Justice League's side, such as Mister Terrific, who knew not to stand beneath a crumbling wall, or The Atom, small in stature but great in wisdom. Not to mention the many Batwomen who could offer advice as Justice Incarnate.
But none of them were aboard the Ultima Thule right now.
Starman and the others had not told the heroes of the Parallel World about opening the Trans-dimensional Teleportation Portal. They were heading into the Main World's past and future. Sending heroes from a Parallel Universe there? That would alter the world too drastically. Unknown Butterfly Effects might even trap them all in a dead end in an instant.
"Starman calling."
A few minutes after the two teams entered the Teleportation Portals, Starman sent out the first communication at the agreed-upon time. Through the World Forger's intervention in Hypertime, they could communicate across time.

Starman's expression turned grave. He tried calling both sides again, but his hoarse shouts echoed through the warehouse, answered only by silence.
