At some point in the Future.
Superman's group had not had a smooth journey either. Even though both Superman and Cyborg could fly, the suddenly closed Teleportation Portal still dumped them into a field of ruins like squeezed-out waste.
"Cough. I had hoped to land a little more gracefully."
Arthur dusted off his corn-kernel scale armor. With his thick hide, he was perfectly fine.
Cyborg was metal from head to toe, so naturally he was unharmed as well. The moment he climbed to his feet, he tried to contact the Justice League through his Mother Box, but all he got was a busy signal.

The air carried a stench of decay, as if some gigantic beast had died nearby.
"This Future doesn't look too good. Where exactly is the fragment of the Totality?" Clark was troubled. He sensed that something was wrong, but the S symbol on his chest gave him hope once again.
Before Cyborg could answer, something several hundred meters away that they had assumed was a Future building suddenly moved. The giant steel monster, hundreds of meters tall, turned around and revealed violet electronic eyes that locked onto the three of them like searchlights.
A huge glowing symbol of Destruction was emblazoned on its chest. With a thunderous roar, its arms transformed into energy cannons and began charging. Green fluorescence flared to life in an instant, and the charging hum boomed like thunder.
"Get down!"
As the cannon fired, several figures suddenly
