Dumbledore popped a Cockroach Cluster into his mouth and put the extra ones away. Su Ming could practically hear the shelled creature bursting inside the old man's mouth, yet the elderly wizard did not seem to find anything wrong with it. He even licked his fingers with relish before continuing.
"I'm old, and my mind isn't what it used to be. I truly can't think of anything the American Magic World has that would be worth trading to me."
Su Ming took out a cigarette case from his belt. He offered Dumbledore one, but the old wizard politely declined, so he lit one for himself. "I did indeed just come from Washington D.C. in the United States, but I represent Kamar-Taj in the Himalayan Mountains, as well as the Council of the Sky founded there."
The wizard opposite him looked utterly confused, as though searching his memories for these unfamiliar names. Clearly, he found nothing.
The old man took off his pointed hat and placed it on a cushioned sofa beside him, then reached out to smooth the wrinkles in it.
"Perhaps I should return to Hogwarts and fetch the Pensieve right now, because I have absolutely no recollection of the place or organization you mentioned. But I do know the Himalaya Mountains. Their specialty is Yetis. I recall someone—who was it?—seeming to have written a book on how to deal with Yetis."
He sank into his own thoughts again.
