The tactic of combining a Flashbang with automatic shotgun fire worked well most of the time, especially against a Basilisk that had no idea what a Flashbang even was.
When Deathstroke brought the girls to the center of the Chamber of Secrets at the deepest point of the underground pipes, there was only a strange, enormous stone statue occupying an entire wall. There was no sign of the Basilisk.
