"I'd never flown before. It felt completely different."
Unlike a certain wizard, little Hermione was still full of energy when she got off the plane. She was incredibly excited, chattering endlessly to the professor beside her. The entire trip, she had even pressed herself against the tiny porthole window to look down below.
In fact, Su Ming and Snape had flown to the United States in Virgin Atlantic first class, which was practically royal treatment. Snape had thrown up the whole way.
This time, however, he and Hermione had taken an EasyJet flight, and the treatment was worlds apart.
Even though EasyJet in this world had been founded a few years earlier than in Su Ming's previous life, it was still Britain's cheapest airline, claiming that it would "never provide passengers with unnecessary services."
There were no cabin classes; every passenger sat together. There was no ticket reservation system either. Anyone who wanted a ticket had to buy it at the airport counter, as telephone reservations and agency services were not accepted.
Checked luggage was not guaranteed to be safe, either. Loss and damage were commonplace, and the airline took no responsibility.
No food, drinks, vomit bags, or anything else were provided on the plane. Want blankets and friendly service? Sorry, none. Each crew consisted of only six people: two pilots, two flight attendants, and two security guards. What more did you expect?
The flight attendants were even more like airheads. Su Ming had heard that a man without legs had once boarded in a wheelchair. The flight attendant took away his wheelchair, then demanded that he obtain proof from law enforcement that he was disabled before it could be returned. Otherwise, he would be suspected of carrying a weapon.
The pilots read novels while flying, told jokes, horsed around
