Today was another fine day for an Order of the Phoenix gathering. The reason Dumbledore and the others were not at Hogwarts was precisely because of this.
After noticing that several professors had vanished from the school, Su Ming guessed that another little group was holding a meeting today, so he took Hermione straight to their door.
He had no desire for Hermione to join childish groups like the Order of the Phoenix or Dumbledore's Army. A union of Legendary Mages like the Council of the Sky was where she belonged. But if they wanted to find Slytherin's Locket, there was no way around Grimmauld Place.
Hermione had trained enough by now. She could be introduced to the Order of the Phoenix without worrying about being sweet-talked into anything, and it was time for her to "discover" the locket.
