"Finally succeeded."
In a basement as cluttered as an auto repair shop, a white-haired old man stared at his creation—the gleaming silver metal body before him.
With slightly trembling hands, he touched the cold mechanical construct and made up his mind.
On the other side stood an enormous multilayered archway made of coils and cables. As electricity surged through it, it gave off a constantly twisting glow.
He did not linger in reflection. He immediately turned and began furiously typing at the computer, inputting commands into the robot. The moment he hit the final Enter key, red light flared in the robot's eyes.
"Initialization commencing. Automatically connecting to the information network. Updating data."
The mechanical electronic voice echoed through the basement. Hank took several steps back, adjusted his glasses, and waited in excitement.
More than a decade had passed, yet Janet's disappearance in that battle had continued to torment Doctor Pym.
The nightmare he had once endured seemed to have returned, but this time, he believed his wife was not dead. She was merely trapped in the Quantum Realm.
He wanted to save her, but the Quantum Realm had once existed only as a concept in physics, representing the gaps between Planck particles and the invisible bonds that held all things together. No research had ever revealed how a person could enter it.
After that incident, Doctor Pym had invested enormous amounts of time and money before finally discovering a way in and out. He had created this super device, resembling a triple gate, capable of opening a passage into the Technological Dimension.
He was now in the underground laboratory beneath Pym Industries. It housed the most advanced quantum laboratory in the entire United States. In terms of specialization, even Tony's laboratory, despite his engineering background, could not compare to
