The castle had no fixed light sources, only the candelabras carried by the Brides leading the way. Through the Gothic spired windows, the moon cast an eerie, blood-red glow.

Luxurious carpets covered the floor, gloomy-eyed portraits lined the walls, and exquisite artworks could be seen everywhere. Many had even been created by Dracula himself.

For example, the painting of someone spitting on a cross had been painted by him personally. Its realistic brushwork made him look exceptionally dashing.

Wanda saw that painting too. After all, it hung in the corridor leading to the dining hall, and it was so enormous that it was impossible to miss.

Still, she did not believe Dracula could truly be as young and handsome as he was in the painting. The Vampires in television shows and movies were all played by actors. A real Vampire Progenitor ought to be some sort of monster, right?

Yet when the Brides pushed open the dining hall doors, and the young man in the grand, cathedral-like chamber turned around with a smile and opened his arms to welcome the Sorcerer Supreme, she realized that the self-portrait had clearly been modest.

His pale skin and blood-red pupils reminded everyone of his Vampire identity, but his Celestial-like handsome face and seductive aura were as alluring as poppies.

As a Mutant witch, she had some resistance to the Vampires' charm. She merely frowned slightly, and when she looked at Dracula again, his appeal was no longer quite so breathtaking.

Mm, he was about as handsome as a top Hollywood leading man now. No longer inhumanly so.

"Sorcerer Supreme, welcome. I truly did not expect you to visit my little castle. Please, take your seats." Dracula smiled as he embraced and shook hands with the Sorcerer Supreme. His long white hair fell smoothly
