Su Ming's first step in this plan was to infiltrate the review panel.
Although he did not know exactly what kind of "humanity" Arishem wanted to see, he had to get in first before he could learn the evaluation criteria.
The other Celestials were only responsible for sampling and gathering information. The Second Progenitor was essentially a one-man court; whether the standards were met was entirely up to him.
But things were different now.
Although Su Ming was as tiny as an ant compared to Colossus, whispering a few suggestions into the Celestials' ears at the right moments and properly "explaining" what they saw would always produce better results.
As long as Arishem accepted this proposal for assistance, humanity's understanding of this trial would take a major step forward.
This was a breakthrough from zero. They would no longer be completely in the dark, without even a chance to defend themselves.
Many civilizations were scared half to death at the sight of a Celestial judgment. They never considered that, as long as one had a strong enough backer, the current Celestials were no longer as overbearing as they had been during the previous generations of Firmaments. In another few decades, cosmic Celestials might even start dying whenever something happened.
Seeing Arishem remain silent, his eyes flashing wildly as though calculating something, Su Ming decided to add fuel to the fire.
"How about this? I'll summon the Living Tribunal and let him decide whether Earth's humanity should continue to exist. You want to judge them, and he happens to judge as well. His authority is even higher than yours. Maybe he'll need an Earth guide, and you can move on to the next planet."
He spoke hypocritically, looking as though he could not bear to see the Celestials burdened any further.
