Amid the howling wind, the Sister did her best to make sure he could hear her. She kept feeling as though he were craning his neck, searching through the mass of Orcs for something.

The two of them rode a motorcycle that was little more than a frame, speeding back and forth behind the greenskins. There were simply too many enemies—green stretched as far as the eye could see.

They would suddenly emerge from underground, from the ruins along the streets, from the sky, from behind them—charging after the pair from every possible direction with wild cries.

Efferal had always operated alongside the Ordo Hereticus. She was skilled at dealing with Chaos and all manner of corrupted monsters, but she had rarely seen a greenskin tide on such a scale. And this was merely an ordinary city on the planet. What lay before them might have been only one hundred-millionth of the total number of greenskins.

"I'm looking for the biggest, greenest Beast—their warboss!"

Su Ming shouted back. It could not be helped; this junk motorcycle's engine sounded like a tractor and was deafeningly loud. Greenskins loved that sort of thing, but no normal human would ever ride something that looked ready to fall apart at any moment.

"The enemy leader?" The Sister slashed at enemies as if she were a knight standing in her stirrups. Blood sprayed all over her from the headless chest cavity of a greenskin, driven by the motorcycle's speed. She merely wiped at her eyes. "But I don't sense that the enemy is being led at all. They're just charging around in a disorganized mess."
