The Eldar Shuriken Catapult was a very elegant weapon, especially at night. When fired, it resembled a fairy wand spraying sparks, blue-white stars and other points of light flooding from its muzzle.

Its technology was somewhat similar to that used by humans in battleship and vehicle engines, only far more advanced. At the very least, humans could not replicate it.

The magazine was actually a single block of elemental crystal. When the weapon fired, high-energy pulses shaved off tiny fragments of the crystal, which were then accelerated and launched through magnetic rails. It could be considered a hybrid of plasma weapons and Gauss Weapons.

An ordinary Shuriken Catapult could fire hundreds of rounds per second, while a single crystal magazine could support roughly a thousand shots. Its only drawback was the lack of rifling, meaning it could only compensate for its poor accuracy through sweeping fire.

Perhaps because of the Eldar's need for beauty, the fired shurikens were shaped into many different forms—little stars, triangles, circles, hearts, and so on.

The different bullet shapes made no difference to armor penetration or lethality. It mainly came down to what pattern the user liked. Those sharp, tiny blade-like rounds could leave their targets torn apart amid a beautiful display.

A Space Marine would never use such heretical weapons. What kind of sight was a three- or four-meter-tall hunk holding a sparkler? Firing off a burst of fireworks and blasting enemies in the face with little heart-shaped rounds?

Yet placed in the hands of slender, elegant Eldar warriors, watching them stand at street corners, dodge and roll through the air, then fire clusters of energy fireworks, it was genuinely as pleasing to the eye as a dance performance.

Their armor was a little lacking, though. Su Ming could punch straight through it with
