The C'tan fragment that had drunk the pool dry gradually recovered its vigor. It began bouncing around again, battering the cage inside the giant sphere.

"Wade is immortal, and so is the C'tan, but a Single Universe-level C'tan will not be a match for my cousin and me working from within and without. It may just take some time."
The nun tossed away her soda bottle, and the glass bottle rolled all the way into a corner. "I understand. I'll buy you time."
"I'll cut a hole into the cage. You use psychic power outside to seal the new opening, and watch out for any Necrons that may search this area. You may also be needed for the final sealing process."
