After finishing the fried chicken meal, Su Ming naturally acted at once, taking Thor and flying to Asgard.

The first time Daisy saw the magnificent golden castle seemingly standing above the clouds, along with the Rainbow Bridge spanning the sea of stars, her little mouth never stopped moving as she chattered excitedly.

Asgard, one of the Nine Realms, was not shaped like a planet. It was more like a massive rock floating through the universe, with all sorts of buildings on its flat side and jagged mountains and stone on the other.

It also existed within the Inner Planes, where physical reality and conceptual projections blended together. For example, following Yggdrasil downward would not take one through the giant rock and into space. Instead, one would reach the roots where the Well of Wisdom lay and see the three Goddesses of Destiny.

The bridge made of seemingly flowing light, the boundless and beautiful universe around it, the giant tree in the center of Asgard that seemed to rise into space, and the waterfalls at the edge of the land flowing directly into the void—all of it filled an ordinary Earth girl like Daisy with curiosity.

When they arrived at the observatory at the other end of the Rainbow Bridge, Su Ming did not see Heimdall's towering, muscular figure. Instead, he unexpectedly found Sif standing guard there, holding her brother's enormous sword.

"Hello, Goddess Sif. Where is your brother?" Su Ming looked toward the great golden disk resembling a sundial, as though suspecting Heimdall was hiding behind it.

Sif sat on the steps beside the disk, the sword's point resting at her side. Her face was pale and hollow, as if she had been seriously ill.

She looked up, saw Deathstroke, and rose to bow. "Sorcerer Supreme, Hera has been waiting
