"Jarvis, call Captain America's cell phone."
Tony was still amid the ruins on the top floor of the Baxter Building. He looked up at the sky, held his head, and gave his armor an order.
The dialing tone soon rang out, and a small "Dialing" window appeared on the projection screen inside his helmet.
"Hello?"
A few seconds later, Steve's voice came through from the other end.
"Hi, Steve. It's Tony. I want to ask you something. Is it convenient for you to talk where you are right now?"
Captain America looked at Fury and the gathered agents before him. That Egghead's one eye had narrowed, as though he suspected something.
S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier had actually already arrived in New York and was currently hiding among the clouds under optical camouflage. That was why Steve had been able to bring Reed to see Fury so quickly.
But everyone present was one of their own. With a dimensional breach on their hands, wouldn't it be better for Fury and the others to know?
"There's nothing inconvenient about it, Tony. Go ahead."
Facing Fury's petty, suspicious gaze, Steve calmly placed his phone on the round table surrounded by everyone and turned on the speaker.
Tony sighed. He leaned over the edge of the rooftop to look below, then quickly drew back. Folding his arms, he said helplessly, "Dr. Banner is back. I recognized him even though his only disguise was a mask. He's downstairs at the Baxter Building helping rescue people. What should I do if the military finds him?"
Steve frowned. Dr. Banner was the one he had taken it upon himself to let go last time, telling him to hide in Mexico with Betty.
