Abomination's shit-gray face went slack, his pair of black-bean eyes widening at once. The instant his fist met the hammer, things turned out completely differently from what he had imagined.
In his plan, the hammer should have been knocked away by his left fist. Then he would rush forward, send the woman flying with his right fist, and continue luring Hulk behind him into the battlefield he had envisioned.
But he had no idea what that hammer was made of. Not only had it not been knocked away, it had shattered the bone spikes on his fist and sent him flying backward, nearly tumbling right into the pursuing Hulk's arms.
The woman raised her hand in a grasping motion. With a buzz, the flying hammer twisted through the air and returned to her hand.
