Reed Richards was temporarily confined to a small bedroom, surrounded by alloy walls without even a single window.

The wall facing the corridor was made of transparent material, but it was a special Nanomaterial, one of Tony's inventions. The Arc Reactor's outer shell was made from the same material, and it was actually sturdier than the alloy walls.
