She said she wanted to ask for directions, but Jessica seemed as if Deathstroke had pressed some button tied to her inner darkness. She walked straight over to the security office sealed off by steel railings, leaned over, and looked inside through the small window.

There was no one inside. Who knew where the security guard had run off to at a time like this?

So she reached out with her fair little hand, grabbed the railing, shook it a few times, and gave it a fierce tug!

With the sound of twisting metal, she ripped the entire metal frame out of the concrete wall. Chunks of cement still clung to its ends, and she casually tossed it aside.

Next, she raised her elbow and knocked it against the inner layer of bulletproof glass. Spiderweb-like cracks instantly spread across the thick transparent wall.

"I'm going in to use the computer."

Jessica gave Deathstroke a brief explanation and received a gesture telling her to go ahead.

So she jumped onto the windowsill, turned around and kicked out the shattered glass, then climbed into the security office.

Su Ming wanted to see what she could do, so although Strangle could clearly smell where the living and dead were throughout the building, he said nothing. He merely leaned against the window and watched her perform.

The security office was fairly well equipped. After all, this was an institution funded by government grants. It not only had a break room, but also a locker room and washroom connected behind it. The air was damp, probably because someone had forgotten to turn off a faucet in their rush to leave.
