It had taken the two Mages working together to perfectly achieve the effect of the bait tactic. If Wanda had not come, Su Ming would have had to let Strangle shapeshift and play the bug himself.
But with the Scarlet Witch helping, many things became much simpler.
Using Nanomachines he had previously cracked in the Negative Zone, Doom controlled an Annihilation Swarm bug. He operated it like remotely controlling armor, making it appear as though it were fleeing while carrying off the Synthezoid.
Wanda, meanwhile, was responsible for altering space, swapping the bait's location again and again to draw Sentry into pursuit.
She was still not strong enough. The current Wanda was still an innocent girl living a carefree life. If she Darkened like the Scarlet Witch of Earth-616, she could probably turn Sentry into an ordinary person with ease.
No one could say where the upper limit of Chaos Magic lay, much less how far the power to make one's wishes come true could go.
Su Ming could not offer her any advice in that regard. She could only explore it herself.
Just now, she had abstractly imagined space as being made up of cubes. Whenever she changed the bug's position, she removed one cube from here and replaced another somewhere else within sight.
That created the effect of instantaneous movement. No, calling it teleportation or Teleportation Magic was not quite accurate. It should be called spatial displacement. That was an entirely different concept.
The first two merely made use of space, whereas displacement had already begun to manipulate space itself.
Doom folded his arms and looked up at the Great Maelstrom. Dark clouds and lightning filled the sky, while
