"The primary objective is to seize the giant cannon by any means necessary. Do not let it be damaged under any circumstances."

Batwoman's voice came through the Walkie-talkie. As the vehicles sped along, she issued orders to her teammates, who had split into seven groups, over the radio:

"Arresting Female Joker is a secondary objective. I know you all want to kill her, but don't."

"Maintain radio silence until you make contact with the enemy. And remember, these tunnels have been submerged underwater for decades. While driving or fighting, avoid hitting the walls, support beams, pipes, or anything else that might get you buried alive."

"Keep the Bat Oxygen Tanks I gave you somewhere easy to reach, in case of emergencies. If Female Joker discovers us, she may blow up the tunnel network, so you must be careful."

"Floor it. Head straight for the island."

There was no inspiring speech, no stirring slogan. Batwoman simply laid out every precaution, then ended the transmission.

Seven Batmobiles traveled down different routes, with different faces in their cockpits, but they had undoubtedly all made their preparations.

Because once they were discovered, they could be buried beneath tens of thousands of tons of rock and icy water. Their chances of survival would be slim to none.

Within seconds, the vehicles entered separate tunnels. Their entrances had been well concealed; some looked like sewer outlets, some like frozen waterfalls, and some like nothing more than patches of weeds.

"Are you sure this plan will work?" Jack was beginning to lose confidence. Even though he had proposed the plan himself, now that people were truly risking their lives for it, he sensed an unprecedented level of trust from Batwoman.
