The Blackest Speed

After sending Wally's two children back to Earth-0, the Time God returned to the Dark Multiverse. He floated in the void, watching the countless Earths orbit their suns.

He thanked Wally in his heart, regardless of whether he was truly alive or where—or when—he might be now.

Even he could no longer be certain. When an already unpredictable speedster sat upon the Mobius Chair, anything became possible.

In truth, Wally had not died. His understanding of the Speed Force was no less profound than Barry's, and the chair had given him more advanced ways to wield it. While seated upon it, he felt omnipotent.

Even now, he had not lost his emotions as the Time God had predicted, because his mind processed information just a little faster than the chair could pour the knowledge of the entire universe into him.

He held up one hand, where an image flickered: his children embracing their mother on Earth-0.

Leaning against the chair, his formerly red suit had turned entirely blue, the color of hope. He could not return to reunite with his family, so he could only protect them in this way.

Only after sitting upon this chair did he realize how shortsighted the Time God had been. The crisis was not over. On the contrary, The Batman Who Laughs' massive invasion of the Dark Multiverse had merely been a smokescreen. That mad Batman had used the opportunity to create his "Laughing Multiverse" beyond the remnants of the Source Wall.

The laughing madman had gained power equal to Doctor Manhattan's. This dangerous intelligence had to reach the Justice League, but in his current state, Wally could not enter Earth-0, much less speak to anyone. Who could he send to deliver the warning?
