"This doesn't seem to be a Skrull." A few minutes later, the two examined the pile of wreckage on the ground. Jessica tied her hair into a ponytail behind her head. "The Skrulls you mentioned should be some kind of alien creature. This is a robot."

Yes, Peter had only been half right. This really was not Fury himself, but neither was it a Skrull Imposter.

They had originally only wanted to kick him and take him alive, but Jessica had no sense of restraint. After a few punches, this Fury's head came off, and a shower of electrical sparks burst from his neck.
