Dressed in an extravagant medieval gown, she held her chin high as she walked contentedly down the street. Low-ranking slaves knelt before her one after another, and she experienced an indescribable thrill.

At times like this, she always felt that serving her masters so comfortably had been absolutely the right choice.

As one of the Spider Totems, she sneered at her own past. She had no idea why she had ever wanted to be a Superhero. Wasn't being the mistress of the strong far easier and more comfortable now?

"Ah, lovely jewelry." She took out a pair of jeweled earrings from a shop window beside her, put them on, and checked herself in the mirror. Smiling with satisfaction, she said, "I'll take these. Wrap them up."

The shop owner immediately kowtowed, then silently went to work. To the slaves at the bottom, Madame Drew was no different from the masters. Both could decide their fates with a single word.
