Generally speaking, Mister Fantastic's abilities were more or less the same across Parallel Universes. The difference lay only in who was better at causing trouble, or rather, who had fewer moral limits.
But this was the first time Su Ming had seen a Reed as crazy as the one before him. And this posture—turning into a Meatball with hands growing all over his body—why did it look a little like a coronavirus?
However, Professor Xu's magical probing still revealed something. The thing providing magical protection was likely the bright, glistening mucus that was everywhere on Reed's body.
Even though he had just crawled out of sewage, the mucus continued to pour from his body without end, dripping and dangling as though his true form were a ball of snot.
Strangle was complaining as well. This Reed was too slippery. Even when it grabbed one of his arms, it could not exert any force. Otherwise, it would have torn those limbs off long ago.
"So it provides physical protection too?" Su Ming pondered this, but only for an instant before extending his hand. "Force Choke!"
The effect was equally mediocre. Reed was a ball now; he had no neck.
That let Su Ming discover a weakness in his skill. So creatures without necks could be immune to Force Choke? That did make some sense.
But these were merely experiments. With the Power Ring isolating the surroundings and Strangle facing the enemy head-on, Deathstroke and Professor Xu standing in the rear were actually quite relaxed. They were simply trying to obtain more information from a turtle in a jar.
Against an opponent at Reed's current level, Su Ming had plenty of ways to make his life miserable.
"Master Su, can you cook?" After observing the long-limbed Meatball monster for a while, Professor
