The Galactus Engine was about the size of a planetary system. Its mouth could fit dozens of planets at once without issue, making it more than spacious enough for a battlefield.
Doom's battle against Mad Iron Man had actually been a one-sided suppression. In technology and magic alike, the madman in iron was at an absolute disadvantage. Doom had not even moved from where he floated in midair with his arms folded across his chest, yet he had already defeated the insane Iron Man.
Still, this mad Tony had quite a sharp tongue. One moment he spoke of great love, the next he claimed the Many-Angled Ones would turn everyone into meat soup, and then he cursed Doom to be forsaken by the Old Ones.
In any case, he knew quite a lot, even understanding some things from the Mystic Side. While he hurled insults, Doom calmly listened to it all and extracted a few pieces of intelligence along the way.

Even though the system of his armor had been remotely hacked by Doom and electrical sparks were bursting from all over his body, this Iron Man remained trapped inside his steel shell, chattering without end.
Doctor Doom had a keen eye. He knew that all of Iron Man's abilities came from that turtle shell of a suit. Without it, he was nothing.
That was why Doom had not intended to use magic from the beginning. Instead, he had sent Doom Nanomachines into the enemy armor and completely taken over its systems.
At this point, let alone trapping Mad Iron Man in midair and leaving him unable to move, Doom could make him break into an awkward dance on the spot, and the other man would have no choice but to obey.
