When the main force found That Door in the laboratory, Fury and the ducks were nowhere to be seen. The place was packed with zombies, endlessly streaming into this world from the other side of the door.
It was an utterly ordinary door, painted blue and looking no different from the security doors commonly seen in China.
Yet it stood in the middle of the laboratory. A swirling nebula filled the doorway, and zombies emerged from it one after another, chanting about hunger as they attacked the group.
"Tony, you handle it."
Looking at the zombies crammed into the greenhouse-like laboratory, Su Ming put away his weapons and had Iron Man step to the front, making it clear that all this trash was his to deal with.
"Why is it always me?"
Iron Man had been busy. He might not have said much along the way, but he had actually been secretly chatting with Cassandra through the suit's built-in communications system.
Now that they had cleared up the past, the relationship between them had become rather delicate. Tony clearly had plenty he wanted to say to his ex-girlfriend.
"Your armor isn't much, but it's pretty useful for clearing out tightly packed minions." Deathstroke raised his chin, urging Tony to get moving. "They heard us talking. Don't waste time. Once the zombies spread out, blowing them up won't look nearly as good."
"Fine, but my armor's energy isn't Infinity. This Disco armor uses an Arc Reactor powered by the New Element, and it's very impressive, but it isn't an unlimited power source."
Tony grumbled, but he immediately opened fire. Thick white beams shot out from both palms again.
