The two Doctor Dooms were dressed almost identically, except the outsider had a few extra items. He wore an Infinity Gauntlet on one hand and a Sling Ring on the other.
There were no gems set into the gauntlet, but the gauntlet itself was an artifact. It could withstand the immense energy of the gems, so in certain battles, it could also be used as a shield against energy attacks.
The method was simple as well: what was commonly known as "catching a blast"—just use the gloved hand to grab the beam.
The two Otherworld Variants possessed almost identical magical prowess, and their combat approaches were no different either: overwhelming seas of robots, with technology and magic used in alternation.
When the fighting reached its height, they even engaged in a round of close combat. Yet when it came to fists and kicks, the outsider Doom was still superior. He seemed to have received combat training from an expert, and many of his moves were ones Earth-616 Doom had never seen.
But they were both Doom, so victory was not so easily decided. Even after the battle was dragged into the Mirror Dimension, Doctor Doom, the one who had cast the spell, could only ensure that his other self would not escape.
"You are persistent, but that is useless before Doom. Across the multiverse, Doom is the strongest."
After catching a laser blast with the Infinity Gauntlet, one Doctor Doom floated in the inverted space, speaking down at his opponent with his head pointed toward the floor.
The Doom without any super artifact remained calm.
"It is too early to speak of victory. You will not be Doom's opponent."
"Oh? Doom knows what you are planning, because you too are Doom. Do you intend to settle this within the Timeline?
