Lava, Blood Pools, volcanoes, devils—everything was there. Loki had practically copied Mephisto's Hell wholesale.
But it was not entirely a copy. Hell still retained the bathhouse's function. A muscular man holding a towel and soap walked into a lava pool, scrubbing himself with an oily grin. His flesh quickly changed under the intense heat, and his entire body was visibly roasted.
His skin was golden and crisp, covered by a layer of oil. If he had been a suckling pig or a roast duck rather than a person, this would have been the ideal cooking result.
But it was not over yet. After roasting himself, the muscular man climbed ashore with that same greasy smile, found a place like a cutting board, and lay facedown upon it. Several devils holding pitchforks immediately swarmed him.
They arranged broccoli, tomatoes, baby potatoes, and other side dishes around the "roasted man," then used large pots and brushes to coat him in a thick, blood-red sauce. Finally, they stuffed a red apple into the muscular man's mouth.
