The Adjutant's skills were beyond question. Having gathered cutting-edge technological knowledge from several universes and acquired occult properties as well, she could assemble a device in about the time it took the Sheriff to drink a mouthful of liquor.
One second, Deathstroke was still rubbing the gorilla's head and telling him to make a call. The next, the Teleportation Portal had already been assembled. Cables extended from underground and connected directly to The Ring Gate. As red energy flowed into the device, the gate activated with a hum, and the vortex reappeared.
"Sheriff, power supply stable, calculations accurate, spatial passage anchored, coordinates confirmed. Beginning void scan. A new multiverse has been discovered, temporarily designated DC Multiverse 3. Our target has fled to this Earth."
As she spoke, she raised a small hand as white as porcelain and projected an enormous image that blotted out the sky.
Within the pitch-black ocean of the void, the mist over another region was dispersed, revealing a new Multiversal System. She enlarged the transparent, glowing sphere, showing that it contained countless smaller spheres, then highlighted one of them.
By activating the Teleportation Portal, they had already intercepted the other side's transmission coordinates. The gate was no longer needed; Sepulk could send the Sheriff and the others there directly at any time.
"Wow, how magical." Harley had somehow appeared behind the Adjutant. She wrapped her arms around the robot's waist and rested her head on the Adjutant's shoulder. "So we were living in black water like a pot of squid ink all along? Hahaha, no wonder I'm so cute. Mwah."
After speaking, she unceremoniously planted a kiss on the Adjutant's cheek, becoming inexplicably delighted.
Strangely, the Adjutant seemed to have become close with her at some point. Doll merely wiped her face quickly and smiled back
