"Find a hero who uses magnetism to help?" Bobo held his pipe in his mouth as he looked at the rainy night beyond the boat, a hint of recollection flashing through his eyes. "I know. You mean Magnetic Kid? But he's already over eighty. Even for an Alien, he's long past retirement age."

Magnetic Kid's real name was Pol Krinn. His home planet was Braal, once ruled by a highly intelligent species of Tyrannosaurus Rex. The Braalians, who looked almost exactly like humans, had suffered endless oppression and slaughter there.

Pol Krinn had fled to Earth as a refugee and even taken part in World War II. Later, he joined a team composed primarily of various Aliens—the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Though that team had been founded early and remained a member of the Justice League Collective, it was essentially a third-string hero squad.

The reason was simple: they had around twenty or thirty members, yet eighty percent of them were Aliens. Batwoman didn't trust them.
