Su Ming landed on the police station rooftop and watched the girl at the edge, shouting and pacing back and forth. Her green hair was plastered to her face by the rain, while her black leather jacket glimmered faintly.
"Aah!!! Die!!! All of you, go die!!! Hahaha!!! Machines, damn machines!!! Die! Die! Die!"
She screamed and waved her hands. Dozens of wrecked robots below rose into the air at once under her magnetic power, then were crushed together into a flat disc, torn apart, crushed into a disc again, and torn apart once more.
Over and over, she earnestly tortured those robots, even though they were really nothing more than metal junk whose signals had been blocked by the magnetic field.
"Lorna? That's enough. They're dead already."
Su Ming approached from behind and spoke up to remind her to conserve her strength. She might need to find a way to alter Earth's magnetic field later.
Hearing Deathstroke's voice, she froze slightly before slowly lowering her arms.
The aurora in the sky vanished, and the green mist around her receded into the darkness. The lump of metal hanging in midair some distance away fell as well, hitting the ground with a thunderous crash and smashing a huge pit into the road.
She glanced at Deathstroke and tried to eat the remaining half of her chocolate, but her hands shook too badly for her to grasp anything.
As the chocolate fell into a puddle on the rooftop, she crouched down and curled into a ball, hugging her knees as she began to cry. Hurt-animal whimpers escaped her throat.
The sound was indistinct amid the wind and rain, but she was clearly devastated.
"Are you okay?" Su Ming crouched down, nudged the half-eaten Chocolate Frog aside, and pulled out a fresh box. "Don't
