The boxing-glove arrow struck the robot standing guard on the distant street with perfect accuracy. Given that it was made of liquid, an arrowhead with a larger contact area was actually a good choice. At the very least, the robot tilted its head when it was hit.

Green Arrow poked his head out from around the corner and beckoned at the robot with a grin.

"Come over here!"

Apparently, these robots functioned somewhat like puppets. It was unclear what was issuing them commands from behind the scenes, but one thing was certain: it clearly could not distinguish a provocation.

Its arms transformed into gun barrels. With light, silent steps, it headed toward the alley, intending to capture and kill the human who had attacked it.

The moment it turned the corner, it found love. The green-hatted human from before was nowhere to be seen. In his place stood a figure in a red-and-blue uniform, wearing a bright sunny smile.

"Surprise."

Before the robot could react, two beams of Heat Vision melted it. Little Superman was quite restrained this time, though. He only melted its head and torso, leaving the robot's limbs intact.

Flicking back his long cape-like hair, Little Superman slowly descended and looked at Green Arrow and his wife.
