The Adjutant understood now. Her projection looked at the man with worshipful eyes as she spoke quickly:
"But if other Earths are to be reshaped in the future to construct a multiverse, familiar tragic stories will inevitably play out again. This is the solution. If we use this place as a template and create Parallel Worlds belonging to the Marvel Multiverse, we can gain a great many Earths that breed Mutants. On such Earths, Mutants would be worshipped as children of gods or idols. No one would refuse to have children with their idols."
"The term 'breeding' sounds too low-EQ. Call it 'cultivating Mutant Superheroes.' The essence hasn't changed, but doesn't it sound better?"
The Sorcerer Supreme's voice also appeared beside Doll's ear, carrying a hint of satisfaction:
"You're about half right. There are indeed many Mutants with extremely high potential, and they can help in battle. There's another point as well: faith. I want to collect some of the faith ordinary people place in their idols and see whether spiritual energy can be converted into bargaining chips we can use."
The Adjutant tilted her head. "What is faith?"
"A form of Mental Power. Quite a few Dimensional Demon Gods depend on the power of faith. Humans worship gods, and while the gods profit, they give humans a sip of soup in return. It's a little like restaurants handing out membership cards to customers. At heart, it's all a trick of offering small sweeteners in exchange for greater benefits."
