Feeling the strength drain from his body, Desaad wore an incredulous expression. He lowered his head to look at the glowing tip of the weapon protruding from his chest, then tried to turn and look at Deathstroke.
But as the lightsaber was pulled from his chest, he lost all strength and simply collapsed to the ground, struggling to roll onto his back.
He had only just seen the Black Sun that had appeared in the sky at some point when a second flash of light struck him.
Only after lifting Desaad's head and confiscating his double-bladed battle axe did Su Ming calmly say to the severed head:
"Yes, you lost."
There was no way he would give his opponent a chance to self-destruct or turn things around. Wanted to shout that "Darkseid Is" nonsense? Maybe in the next life.
At that moment, the Black Sun vanished, and seawater suddenly rushed back in, instantly flooding the battlefield.
