If the original author could be found, they bought the rights; if that person did not exist on 40K, Su Ming had Adjutant bring it over from another world; if there was truly no other way, they extracted it from the memories in his mind.
If there were no corresponding actors, they created Synthezoids. If there were no suitable locations, they built them on alien planets. In short, the reference materials available to Magik were extremely comprehensive.
